Paseos 6

Paseos Review

BIG IDEA: “What does God want from me?” In a word: relationship.

Hebrews 11:6 And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him. (ESV)

2 Timothy 3:16 All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, (ESV)

John 8:47 Whoever is of God hears the words of God. (ESV)

John 4:23–24 But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him. [24] God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.” (ESV)

Matthew 25:37 Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? [38] And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? [39] And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ [40] And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’ (ESV)

Acts 20:35 In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’” (ESV)

Q1: What do you know about God, from your current relationship with Him?

Q2: Knowing or hearing these things about God should affect your life. Does it? If so, how?  If not, why?

Q3: The Paseos were: Reading the Bible, Prayer, Worship, Fasting & Abstaining, and Giving & Serving.  Which paseo have you found God on the most?

Q4:  Has anyone tried one of the Paseos during this series?  How is it going or how did it go?

Q5: Do you have any questions about how to walk out any of the Paseos?

A Paseo is just a path, pick a paseo to walk this summer and tell us what your plan is to do it.
